Subject:- Approval of appointment/re ‑ appointment and remuneration payable to managing/whole-time directors or managers ‑ Revision of application forms to provide additional information The provisions in Form Nos. 25A and 25C requiring information to be given about the proceedings pending under the 11 specified Acts has given rise to representations that the term proceedings is vague and too wide in scope. It is clarified that the Department would consider it sufficient compliance if information is given about (1) any penalty imposed on the person or any conviction that the person had to undergo under any of these Acts during the last 8 years, and (2) any proceedings pending in respect of violation of any of the Acts which attract the penal provisions of the relevant Act.
