Mulberry Raw Silk -Gradation Certificate by Chinese State Administration for Entry-Exit Inspection are Valid - DGFT - 04(RE-2000)/1997-2000Extract Mulberry Raw Silk -Gradation Certificate by ChineseState Administration for Entry-Exit Inspection are Valid GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE Policy Circular No. 4(RE-2000)/1997-2000 dated 7/4/2000 Mulberry Raw Silk -Gradation Certificate by Chinese State Administration for Entry-Exit Inspection are Valid Attention is invited to Para 2 (3)(7) of Notification No.9 (RE-99) dated 19.05.99 Notification No. 15(RE-99) dated 02.07.99, according to which "China Commodity Inspection Bureau (CCIB) Beijing and all its provincial branches, China" has been notified as a nominated agency for gradation of Mulberry Raw Silk. Representations have been received from the trade and also from the Economic and Com- mercial Counsellor's Office Embassy of People's Republic of China. New Delhi informing that, State Administration for entry -exit inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China has now been authorised by the concerned authority in China to issue such gradation certificates as were being issued earlier by CCIB, China. In this regard, it is clarified that all gradation certificates of Mulberry Raw Silk issued by State Administration for entry -exit inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China, Beijing and all its branches in China (CIQ Certificate), issued after 01.01.2000 shall be considered to be deemed to be valid in terms of licensing note no.2 to Chapter 50 of ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997-2002.
