Extension of due date of filing return in case of assessees in state of Bihar ORDER NO. F.NO. 220/4/2007-ITA-II, DATED 31-7-2007 Considering the disruption caused by floods in the state of Bihar, the Central Board of Direct Taxes, in exercise of powers conferred under section 119 of the Income Tax Act, 1961, hereby extends the due date of filing of returns required to be furnished by 31st July 2007 to 16th of August, 2007 in the case of income-tax assessees in the state of Bihar.
