VCES dues payment deadline extended - Central Excise - F.No. 137150/2013

F.No. 137150/2013-Service Tax Government of India Department of Revenue Central Board of Excise Customs Service Tax Wing New Delhi, the 30 th December, 2013 To All Chief Commissioner of Central Excise/Customs and Central Excise Directors General Service Tax/Systems/CEI All Commissioner of Service Tax/Central Excise Joint Secretary TRU II/Commissioner DPPR Dear Chief Commissioner/Commissioner In continuation of the instruction issued today regarding the Press Release issued by the Secretary Revenue, this is to inform you that instruction have been issued by the Department of Financial Service to the banks/NSDL to the effect on 31-12-2013: a) the deadline for e-payment has been extended till midnight, b) the designated banks will accept payment of VCES dues, against a copy of the ST2 registration certificate, even if their registration number does not figure in the database of the designed banks/NSDL.
