Bank nominated for collection of Service tax/Central Excise duty under Central Excise Commissionerate, Dibrugarh - Service Tax - 03/2008

Commissioner of Central Excise, Dibrugarh Trade Notice No. 3/2008 dated March, 2008 Attention of the Trade and Industry and all concern is invited to the Letter No. Coord II/9-7/M. Banking/2007/397, dated 13-2-08 of the Principal Chief Controller of Accounts, Central Board of Excise Customs, New Delhi regarding nomination of United Bank of India as an additional Bank for collection of Central Excise Duties and Service Tax for Central Excise Commissionerate-Dibrugarh w.e.f. 1-3-2008. The RBI has issued necessary instructions authorizing the United Bank of India as the additional Public Sector Bank under their letter No. DGBA. GAD. No. H 9189/41-2-001/2006-07, dated 22-2-08.
