Commissioner of Customs, Chennai Public Notice No. 161/2013 dated 23-7-2013 Attention of the Steamer Agents, Importers, Exporters and their representatives (Custom House Agents) is invited to this Custom House Public Notice No. 100/2009, dated 3-11-2009 declaring the Inland Container Depot of M/s. Indev Logistics Pvt. Ltd., situated at No. B-7 B-8, SIPCOT Industrial Oart, Irrungattukottai, Sriperumbudur-602 105 as CUSTOMS AREA under Section 8(a) of the Customs Act, 1962 for handling of Import and Export Cargo. Now, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962 , an additional covered area measuring 2434 Sq. Mtrs situated at North-West side of the ICD covering part of Survey No. 134 and part of Survey No. 138, is declared as CUSTOMS AREA for the Specific purpose of handling of Import and Export Cargo. Boundaries : (a) North - Balance Plot in B-7 of M/s. Indev Logistics Pvt. Ltd. (b) West - Plot Nos. A-11 A-12 of M/s. Indev Logistics Pvt. Ltd., (c) South - Existing Yard of ICD. (d) East - Existing Bonded Warehouse of ICD This Public Notice shall come into effect from 25-7-2013.
