Commissioner of Customs (Seaport-Imports), Chennai Public Notice No. 214/2012 Dated 28-9-2012 In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962 , I, Jane K. Nathaniel, Commissioner of Customs, (Seaport-Import), Custom House, Chennai, declare the premises of M/s. Sattva Conware Private Limited at Survey No. 388/12, NAPC Godown Road, Elavambedu Village, Siruvakkam, Jothi Nagar, Ponneri-601 203 more fully described below, as CUSTOMS AREA for the purpose of examination and clearance of cargo imported in F.C.L containers, (other than LCL cargo and Passengers unaccompanied baggage) which were allowed to be moved from Chennai Port to the CPS (M/s. Sattva Conware Private Limited at Survey No. 388/12, NAPC Godown Road, Elavambedu Village, Siruvakkam, Jothi Nagar, Ponneri-601 203) and examination, stuffing/loading of export cargo into containers under Customs supervision and sealing of the same by Customs with Customs Seals. Description of area and location : M/s. Sattva Conware Private Limited at Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District, Chennai situated in an area of 10.340 acres, having total covered warehouse measuring 3000 Sq. Mtrs. demarcated as 294 Sq. Mtrs Import LCL Warehouse, 588 Sq. Mtrs. Import Warehouse, 588 Sq. Mtrs. Import Bonded Warehouse and 1530 Sq. Mtrs Export Cargo Shed. (Survey Nos. 364/1A1(Part), 364/1B, 364/1A3(Part), 364/1A4 (Part), 364/2, 393/2, 393/3 392/1A (Part) as claimed by the CFS management and certified by the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Minjur, Ponneri-Taluk). Boundaries : On the North : By Survey Nos. 364/1A1 (Part), 364/1A3(Part), 364/1A4 (Part), 364/1A5 and 363/7(Part) On the South : By Survey No. 394 393/3 (Part) On the East : By Survey Nos. 365/1 (Part) and 392/1A(Part) 392/4A (Part) On the West : By Survey No. 364/3 Procedures to be followed : The procedures for dealing with Import FCL cargo (other than LCL cargo and Unaccompanied Baggage goods) and Export Cargo are to be followed as laid down in Public Notice 19/98, 111/2002 and 255/2002 etc., issued by this Customs House and other Public Notices issued from time to time on the above subject and as stipulated in Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009 . The Public Notice will come into effect from 28-9-2012.
