Public Notice No. 2/2005 Dated 2/2/2005 Attention of Exporters, Importers, Customs House agents, steamer agents and all concerned is hereby invited that in exercise of the power vested in me under section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962 , I, A. Bhattacharyya, Commissioner of Customs (Port) Kolkata do hereby notify 1.16 hectare area of BISN Jetty, as described in the Schedule below, as Customs Area till 01-11-2008 for the purpose of loading of fly ash, granuated thereof to Bangladesh through riverine route THE SCHEDULE The Inland waterways Authority of India s BISN jetty situated at Bhutghat, Garden Reach Road, Kolkata-700 043 with an area of 1.16 hectare has the following boundary: On the North : Hooghly River; On the South : KoP.T. office (Hydraulic department); On the East : Temple/South Eastern Railway property; On the West : F.C.I. occupied area Inland Waterway Authority of India should always maintain the existing fencing and proper security of the area.
