Public Notice No. 164/2007 Dated 13/11/2007 In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962, the premises of M/s. Sattva CFS and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. at Survey No. 125/1, Amman Kulam, Vichoor Village, Chennai 600 103 more fully described below, is declared as CUSTOMS AREA for the purpose of examination and clearance of cargo imported n F.C.L. containers which were allowed to be move from Chennai Port Trust to the C.F.S (M/s Sattva CFS and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. at Survey No. 125/1, Amman Kulam, Vichoor Village Chennai 600 103) othe than LCL cargo and Passengers unaccompanied baggage and examination, stuffing/loading of export cargo into containers under Customs supervision and sealing of the same by Customs with Customs Seals. Description of Area and Location : M/s Sattva CFS and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. Survey No. 125/1, Amman Kulam, Vichoor Village, Chennai 600103 situated in an area of 9.395 acres, having total covered area of around 29,600 Sq. Ft. distributed in two sheds [Warehouse 1 (A B) and Warehouse II] and an open area of about 1,83,774 Sq. feet outside Warehouse II, for storage of both stuffed and empty Import FCL containers. Out of the total covered shed area of 29,600 sq. feet, an area of about 4,000 sq. ft. (372 Sq. Mtrs.) in Warehouse IA is separately demarcated for storage of Import Cargo and 10,800 Sq. Ft. (1003 Sq. Mtrs) in warehouse IB is demarcated for FCL Export cargo. (Survey Nos. 124/4, 125/1, 136/2A, 136/2B, 136/3, 136/4, 136/5, 136/6, 137/1, 137/2 as claimed by the CFS management and certified by the Village Administrative Officer, 150-Vichoor-I Ponneri Taluk) Boundaries : East by : Survey Nos. 136/7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 137/4, 5, 6, 137/7A, 7B, 8, 9 and 10 West by : Survey Nos. 126/4, 126/5B, 126/7, 126/6D, 124/25, 26, 124/2, and 3. North by : Survey Nos. 135/6, 141/2, 3, 141/8 and 9 South by: Vichur Main Road (Total Area 9.395 Acres) Procedures to be followed : The procedures for dealing with import FCL cargo (other than LCL cargo and Passengers unaccompanied baggage goods) and Export cargo, are to be followed as laid down in P.N. 19/98, 111/2002 and 255/2002 issued by the Customs House.
