Containers stuffed under Central excise supervision - DGFT - Trade Notice No. 1/AM16

Seal type for containers stuffed under Central Excise supervision is seal type A, and this information if it is fed at the time of filing EDI shipping bill itself then RMS will not by and large pickup these containers for re-examination. But some of the CHAs and exporters are feeding this information which is a part of Annexure C only at time of goods registration resulting in RMS picking up these containers also lime any other container for examination. Hence though Annexure C cannot be filed at the time of filing EDI shipping bill, the seal type which is a part of Annexure C can be fed at the time of filing the EDI shipping bill itself.
