Express Industry Council of India, Bangalore have been appointed as Custodian in respect of Courier consignments at are imported or exported through Express Industry Council of India Courier Terminal at the Air Cargo Complex, Bangalore, under Section 45(1) of Customs Act, 1962 vide Public Notice No. 24/2009 dated 21.04.2009. The appointment of Custodianship is subject to the provisions of the Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations 2009 (HCCAR), issued by Government of India vide Notification no. 26/ 2009 Cus.(NT) 2009 date 17.03.2009. 2. The said appointment as Custodian has been extended/ renewed as per Regulation 10(2) of HCCAR, 2009, for a further period up to 30.03.2020 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. R.B.
