Procedure for handing over DAK/Tapals/Correspondence addressed to Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai - Customs - 02/2016

OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS - V (GENERAL) AIR CARGO COMPLEX, SAHAR, ANDHERI (E) MUMBAI-400099 File No. S/3-Misc-Estt-09/2016-Admn Date: 06-05-2016 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 02/2016 Attention of all Importers/Exporters, Custom Brokers and all other members of the trade is drawn towards the following directions being issued for smooth functioning of ACC, Sahar. It is decided henceforth that all the DAK/Tapa1s/Correspondences received from the Trade are to be acknowledged at DOS/Admn Section, ACC, Sahar. To implement the same, three STAs/TAs will be exclusively posted at P E Section, ACC, Mumbai for receiving the DAK/Tapals/Correspondences received. from the Trade in respect to Export, Import and General Commissionerate of Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai. STA/TA posted for the said purpose shall be drawn from the strength of the Sevottam Section of the respective Commissionerates. DAK/Tapals/Correspondences received with respect to Impor% Export and General Commissionerate will be forwarded after due entry in the register by the concerned STA/TA after giving the number to the letter and further those DAK/Tapals/Correspondences shall be distributed to the respective Section in the Import, Export, General Commissionerate by the respective TA/STA posted in the P E Section. With regard to grievances/complaints/correspondences related to Tax Payers Services, concerned DAK/Tapals/Correspondences received at Admn Section shall be forwarded to the Tax Payers Service Centre directly and the action would be taken as prescribed in the office Order No. 19/2015-16 dated 11.02.2016 issued by Addl. Commissioner of Customs (General). All the staff members, officers, members of the trade are hereby directed to adhere to the guidelines contained in this Public Notice with immediate effect without fail.
