Verification of Chapter 3 Duty Credit Scrips and EODC from DGFT website - Customs - 11/2013

Verification of genuiness of duty credit scrips issued by DGFT under Chapter 3 of Foreign Trade Policy and verification of Export Obligation Discharge Certificate (EODC) issued against advance authorization/ EPCG authorization etc. consumes lot of time which results in delay in clearance of import consignment and/ or cancellation of bond at Customs end. In order to reduce the transaction time and cost, and to facilitate the exporter as also bring in efficiencies in the system, DGFT, Mumbai zonal office has posted details of EODC issued by all the offices of the Western Zone as well as details of authorizations and duty credit scrips issued by Mumbai office on its website (www.dgft.gov.in/dgftmumbai) as a trade facilitation measure.
