The trade has represented they are facing difficulties in Customs Duty remittances at nominated Banks in respect of Export Oriented Units, since these units are not alloted with any location code numbers. In order to facilitate the trade, this Commissionerate has persued the matter with the Directorate of Data Management, Central Excise Customs, New Delhi for the allotment of location codes to Bangalore Customs Commissionerate and the following are the codes allotted for various formations as per letter F.No. DDM/3106/07/Cus/Tech/LF dated/01/07 of Directorate of Data Management, Central Excise Customs, New Delhi: Sl.No. Name of the Commissionerate/Division/Formation Code number allotted 1 Bangalore Customs Commissionerate LF 2 Air Cargo Complex, Bangalore LF01 3 Inland Container Depot, Bangalore LF02 4 Postal Appraising Depot, Bangalore LF03 5 Bangalore International Airport LF04 6 Customs Division, Bangalore LF05 (i) EOU I Range LF0501 (ii) EOU II Range LF0502 (iii) EOU III Range LF0503 (iv) EOU IV Range LF0504 (v) EOU V Range LF0505 (vi) EOU VI Range LF0506 (vii) CWC Range LF0507 2. All the importers/exporters and the Trade are requested to take note of the above code numbers and to incorporate the respective code numbers in the TR-6 Challans to be presented to the nominated Banks for payment of Customs Duties.
