Attention of the Importers, Exporters, General Trade and all other stakeholders is invited to Public Notice No 09/2018 dated 12.01.18, wherein a list of non-food items as received by FSSAI [Authorized Officer] was issued. The said list was further modified vide the Public Notice No 12/2018 dated 19.01.18. 2. In this regard, an additional list of HS CODE of Non Food Items for which out of scope certification was given in the past, has been received from FSSAI [Authorized Officer] and enclosed herewith as Annexure-A2. FSSAI has already suggested that Non Food items appearing in the lists should not be referred to them for clearance henceforth. 3. In view of the above, it is being informed that except revised list of HS CODE and product description, as enclosed with the Public Notice No. 12/2018 dated 19.01.18 (Annexure-A1) and additional list as provided in this Public Notice (Annexure-A2), other content of Public Notice No 09/2018, dated 12.01.2018 remains unchanged. 4. In case of any difficulty, the specific issue may be brought to the notice of Deputy/Assistant Commissioner in charge of DC/AC Group-I, Nhava Sheva-I or Appraising main (Import), NS-III (email address: [email protected] ) . 5.
