Dated: 16.01.2018 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 02/2018 Sub: Formation of Export Promotion Cells at Bengaluru, Mysore and Chitradurga Attention of all Importers, Exporters, Trade and Customs Brokers is invited to this office Public Notice No. 01/2018 dated 12.01.2018 regarding formation of Export Promotion Cell at Bengaluru with effect from 15.01.2018 to handle the Customs work which was hitherto being attended by Central Excise Officers/GST Officers. 2. In terms of CBEC Notification No. 82/2017 Cus. (NT) dated 24.08.2017 as amended by Notification No. 03/2018 Cus (NT) dated 10.01.2018 , Bangalore City Customs has jurisdiction over the districts of Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Tumakuru, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Ramnagar, Mysore, Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Davangere, Haveri and Chitradurga. 3. The above referred Export Promotion Cells shall take over all the Customs related files of the jurisdictional units from the respective CST Commissionerates immediately. The officers posted to the above referred Export Promotion. Cells shall report to the Commissioner of Customs, Bangalore City Customs. 5. Trade and Public are requested to take note of the formation of the new Export Promotion Cells and utilise the services of the said Cells in respect of Customs Work as indicated above.
