Prompt Terminals (P) Ltd., Tuticorin as Customs Area under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962 and approving them as Custodian under Section 45(1) of the said Act and as Customs Cargo Service Provider (CCSP) under Regulation 10 of HCCAR,2009-Reg. -x-x--x-x-x In exercise of the powers conferred under Clause (b) of Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962, the premises of CONTAINER FREIGHT STATION set up by M/S Prompt Terminals (P) Ltd., Tuticorin at Survey No: 24/3, Ayyanadaippu, Tuticorin Taluk, Tuticorin - 628 101 with the approval of Ministry of Commerce vide their order F. No. 16/07/2015-infra-l dated 14.09.2015 in the name and style as M/S. Prompt Terminals (P) Ltd., CFS and its boundaries specified below has been declared as CUSTOMS AREA by Commissioner of Customs, Tuticorin vide Notification No. 01/2018 dated 18.01.2018 for the purpose of unloading, de-stuffing Customs examination of all full container Load (FCL) imported goods and also for the purpose of Customs examination and loading/ stuffing of export cargo into containers under Customs supervision and sealing of the same by Customs with Customs seal. PESCRXP-TIQN OF- THE AREA ANP LOCATXON OF PREMISES OF M/S. PROMPT TERMINALS (P) Ltd. TUTICORXN CFS 02. Premises having an area of 16.63 Acres of land owned by M/S. Prompt Terminals (P) Ltd., Ayyanadaippu, Tuticorin Taluk, Tuticorin situated at Survey Nos: 22 Part, 23/1 and 24/4, Tuticorin - 628 101, with boundaries on four sides as noted below. Northern Side: Survey Nos. 22 Part, 24/1, 24/2, 24/3A, 24/33 24/4 Part Eastern Side: Survey No. 22 Part Western Side: Survey No 24/1 Part, 25/2 Part, 25/3 Part, 25/6 Part, 25/7 25/8. Southern Side: Survey Nos. 21, 22 Part 23/1 Part 03. In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, M/S. Prompt Terminals (P) Ltd, situated at 24/3, Ayyanadaippu, Tuticorin Taluk, Tuticorin - 628 101 CFS has been approved as Custodian of all imported goods unloaded in the said Customs Area. 04. In exercise of the powers conferred under Regulation 10 of Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations (HCCAR) 2009 as amended, M/S. Prompt Terminals (P) Ltd, situated at 24/3, Ayyanadaippu, Tuticorin Taluk, Tuticorin - 628 101 CFS is approved as Customs Cargo Service provider for receipt, storage, delivery, dispatch or otherwise handling of imported goods and export goods brought in the aforesaid CUSTOMS AREA. 05. PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLWED The procedures for dealing with import FCL cargo and export cargo as laid down in Public Notice No.26/2004 dt.13.05.2004 issued by this Custom House and CBEC Circular No.79/2001 dt.07.12.2001 and Circular No.13 / 2009 -cus dated 23.03.2009 modified from time to time shall be followed. The procedures outlined in CBEC Circular No. 55/2000 dt. 30.06.2000 and Circular No. 22/2001 dated 17.04.2001 for consolidation of cargo at CFS should be adhered to. Movement of Import laden containers has to be done in accordance with facility intimation No.13/2006 dt.23.08.2006 of Tuticorin Customs Commissionerate as amended from time to time. 06.
