Kind attention to all Importers, Exporters, members of Trade and Customs Brokers is invited that the matter of finalization of pending Provisional Assessment cases is on top priority of the export Commissionerate, ACC. It is being monitored closely by the Commissioner / Chief Commissioner of Customs. The export Commissionerate of Customs, ACC has launched a special drive for disposal of pending cases of Provisional Assessment and to bring the pendency at zero-level at the earliest. 2. The data of pending Provisional Assessment cases of the EPCG (Group-7G) section has been retrieved from EDI section and the same is uploaded in website www.accmumbai.gov.in for the knowledge of all concerned for further necessary action. 3. As a proactive measure, a Special Task Force is constituted at EPCG (Group-7G) Section, ACC, Sahar, Mumbai. The Importers, Exporters, members of Trade and Customs Brokers are requested to submit the following documents to the STF for finalization Provisional Assessment cases in the Customs EDI System. (i) SVB order, if any. (ii) Approval for the issue is pending, if any. 5. A monthly joint meeting is proposed to be conducted for speedy finalization of cases pertaining to Special Valuation Branch (SVB). The meeting will be held with officers of S VB, New Customs House, Mumbai officers of EPCG Section, ACC, Mumbai. 6. Further, this office will also be conducting an awareness program shortly to sensitize the officials as well as members of trade industry regarding the importance of finalization of Provisional Assessment cases. 7. In view of the above, it is reiterated that the Importers, Exporters and their Authorized Representatives may approach the S VB, New Customs House, Mumbai for the finalization of the provisional assessment which in turn will help the ST F, ACC to dispose of the same from the EDI system. 8. Difficulties, if any, faced in the implementation of this Facility Notice may be brought to the notice of Joint/Additional Commissioner of Customs (Export), Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai. 9.
