Launching of AEO Web Application (aeoindia.gov.in) - Customs - PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 24/2018Extract OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS GST BHAVAN, 41/A, SASSON ROAD, PUNE-411001 F. No. VIII/Cus/Tech/PN/48-30/18-19 Pune Dated: - 17.12.2018 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 24/2018 Subject :- Launching of AEO Web Application (aeoindia.gov.in) - regarding. Attention of all Importers/ Exporters/ Customs Brokers and the Members of the Trade bodies is invited to the Central Board of Excise and Customs, New Delhi (CBEC)'s Circular 28/2012-Customs dated 16.11.2012 under which the Authorized Economic Programme was introduced. Review of this Programme was taken and further guidelines were issued by the CBEC vide Circular No. 33/2016-Customs dated 22.07.2016 and further review of this facilitation scheme was done under Circular No.03/2018-Customs dated 17.01.2018 and further simplified vide Circular No.26/201/-Customs dated 10.08.2018. 2. The process of accreditation of AEO-TI was decentralized to the Zonal Level vide Circular No.26/2018-Customs dated 10.08.2018 i.e., The Commissioner, (Zonal Manager), Customs, Pune. 3. To take the process of simplification of AEO Tl application and processing further, the Board has launched a AEO Website (domain name: aeoindia.gov.in), The website has been launched by the CBIC and the same is live w.e.f. 01st December, 2018. Simultaneously, though, the manual processing of AEO Tl Applications is allowed to be continued till 31st March, 2019 for seamless transition, it is impressed upon the Trade to make optimum use of the facility of On-line filling up and submission of AEO Tl Application and uploading of the relevant documents on the aforesaid web application. 4. The Brief of AEO Web Application and on-line submission of AEO T1 application is as under : For the Applicant - i. The applicant has to login to the www.aeoindia.gov.in web application and Applicant has to first register himself before login. A registration window will open wherein the applicant has to provide his basic details and choose his ID and Password. ii. A regstration window will open wherein the applicant has to provide his basic details and choose his ID and Password. iii. On the number and e-mail provided, the applicant will be sent an OTP, which he needs to input to complete registration. iv. After providing the OTP, the applicant is successfully re stered. He can now use the ID and Password for login. v. Applicant logs in with the ID and Password provided by his during registration. vi. The applicant's dashboard view is displayed. By Clicking on 'Application form' takes him to the Annexure 1 of AEO Tl Application. vii. Once the applicant has filled his full details in Annexure 1, he can save it and move to Annexure 2. viii. The pre-view of Annexure 2 is now displayed. ix. After filling up the entire details in Annexure 2, at the end of Annexure 2, applicant can click 'Save and Preview' button to have a final look at his filled application. x. Applicant's 'Preview Application' screen is displayed. Here he can have a preview of all the information provided and documents uploaded. xi. Once satisfied with his application, applicant can scroll down the preview of Annexure 2 and either click 'Submit' or he can 'update the Annexure 1 2'. xii. Once applicant is satisfied with his application, he submits 'Submit' in preview window and the applications is submitted successfully. The application will now move to Customs Officials' dashboard for processing. 5. All the members of Trade and Industries Associations are requested to make optimum use of AEO Web Application, in filing AEO Tl application on AEO Website so that the trade can enjoy the fruits of this ease of doing business tool seamlessly from manual filing to digital Ning of AEO Tl application. 6. Any queries or difficulty faced in implementation of online processing of AEO Tl application may be communicated to DIC at [email protected]. 7. The contents of this Public Notice may be brought to the knowledge of their member constituents of the Trade bodies and the same may be downloaded from the website of www.punecustoms.nic.in. 10.
