No. P3/06/2017-Stats(AM).Pt.II Date: 29.01.2019 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 01/2019 Sub: Amendment to the Public Notice No. 29/2018 dated 01.08.2018 Submission of Commercial Invoice by the shipping line Reg. ****** Attention of Nepal importers, Shipping lines, Steamer agents and all concerned is invited to this office Public Notice No. 29/2018 dated 01.08.2018 regarding transshipment procedure using Electronic Cargo Tracking System (ECTS). 2. In this connection, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) vide email letter dated 23/01/2019 has conveyed to effect some modification to the procedure in the above mentioned public notice. 3. In order to implement the above modification, the relevant para No. 3(vi) of the Public Notice No. 29/2018 dated 01.08.2018 stands amended and the same may be read as follows: Para 3(vi): Cargo transshipment approval order with TP number and date will be generated in the ICES system similar to the transshipment Permits issued to other ICDs, following a similar procedure as prescribed in the Public Notice No. 06/2013 dated 06.04.2013 issued by Custom House, Visakhapatnam. However, if the same is not feasible in the ICES system, it shall be done manually. The shipping line shall submit copy of the commercial invoice pertaining to the cargo under movement to the Customs authorities at the time of seeking transshipment approval. 4. The amended procedure will be implemented w.e.f. 15.02.2019 and other contents of the Public Notice No. 29/2018 dated 01.08.2018 remain unchanged. 5. Difficulties, if any, faced in implementation of these instructions may be brought to the notice of the Assistant/Deputy Commissioner of Customs, ITP cell, Custom House, Visakhapatnam. - Sd (Dr. D.
