No. VIII/43-10/09-Tech Date: 13.06.2017 FACILITTION NOTICE NO.01 /2017 Subject:- Implementation of Notification No .07/2017 -Customs dated 24/5/2017 issued under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962. Attention of the Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers, Trade and all other agencies concerned is invited toward the Notification No.07/2017 -Customs, dated 24/5/2017 issued by the Principal Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad under which new/ additional Customs Area of Inland Container Depot of M/S. Container Corporation of India Ltd. situated Near Railway Station, Old National Highway No.8, Ankleshwar, Bharuch - 393001, Gujarat has been notified under Section 8 of the Customs Act, 1962. 2. In view of the shifting of ICD, Ankleshwar from Old Customs area to New Customs Area, the following timeframe is being delineated: (a) The ICD Code (INAKV6) allotted will remain the same. (b) All fresh imports consignments will be received at new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar with effect from 16/6/2017. (c) All exports goods should be brought at new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar from 16/6/2017 except those which part entry (Shipping Bill filed and part of goods are brought inside old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar before 16/6/2017) has been done at old Customs notified area of ICD, Ankleshwar before 16/6/2017. (d) All Customs clearance, including payment of Customs duty for import and export goods brought at new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar will be done from 16/612017. The Customs staff and CMC staff will be posted to new ICD, Ankleshwar for customs clearance. The Customs clearance of goods present at old Customs Notified Area will be carried out at old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar only. (e) The EDI system will be shut down at both the places, with effect from 18:00hours 24/6/2017. The relevant records, computers, CMC and other paraphernalia will be shifted on 24-25/6/2017 leaving only skeleton computer (h) Old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar will be used only for clearance of remaining goods present at old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar till 30/6/2017, thereafter old Customs Area of ICD, Ankleshwar will be de-notified. CUSTOMS 3. Customs will operate at both places with staff, CMC and computers for the required duration. CONCOR 4. M/S. CONCOR will operate at both terminals with men and materials and equipment for 30 days from 16/6/2017 and they would provide equipment to shift the pending containers to new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar for getting the same examined and/or exported. 5. IMPORTS I. From 16/6/2017 all Customs clearance work related to goods arived at new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar will be done in new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar only. II. In case of import cargo, which had already arrived at old Customs Notified Area of Ankleshwar before 16/6/2017, the customs clearance Will be done at old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar. III. All those containers lying at premises of old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar, for which B/E has not been filed till 29/6/2017 will be shifted to new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar and the same will be done on account of the importers by CONCOR. IV. All the Customs clearance operation after 30/6/2017 will happen only at new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar and old Customs Area of ICD, Ankleshwar will be de-notified. 6. EXPORTS I. All fresh Shipping Bill after 16/6/2017 will be filed at new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar and carting of export goods will be done at new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar. No fresh shipping bill carting will be carried out at old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar. II. The Shipping Bill filed already, whose part carting has been done at old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar , can continue to be processed at old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar till 24/6/2017. After 24/6/2017 no carting will be done at old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar. III. Customs clearance for export cargo will continue at old Customs Notified .to new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar on account of the exporter. V. All factory stuffed container shall be given export clearance at new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar after 16/6/2017. However, the containers whose lot arrived at old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar before 16/6/2017, shall be given customs clearance at old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar. 7.1 It is further clarified that all the containers/ goods, pending clearance due to various reasons (live testing, NOC from Additional Drug Controller, etc) at old Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar, would be moved by CONCOR to the new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar at their own cost. 7.2 Further all containers, wherein goods have been seized/ confiscated, would also be moved by CONCOR, at their own cost, to the new location at new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar. BONDED WAREHOUSE 8. The Bonded warehouse will continue to work as usual, till 30/6/2017 and thereafter Bonded cargo shall be shifted to bonded warehouse at new Customs Notified Area of ICD, Ankleshwar by CONCOR, at their own cost.
