Attention of all Importers, Members of the Trade and other stake holders is invited to Board's Notification No. 77/2017- Customs dated 13.10.2017 amending Notification No.50/2017- Customs dated 30.06.2017. 2. Vide Notification No. 77/2017- Customs dated 13.10.2017, the Notification No.50/2017- Customs dated 30.06.2017 has been amended by inserting Sl.No.608A, whereby bonafide gifts falling under Chapter 9804, imported by post or air upto CIF value limit of ₹ 5000/- and exempted from any prohibition in respect of the imports thereof under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992) have been exempted from whole of duties of Customs and IGST.
