In exercise to the power conferred under section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, M/s Chettinad International Bulk Terminal Private Limited having their registered office at Rani Seethai Hall Building, floor, 603, Anna Salai, Chennai -600 006 is hereby appointed as the 'CUSTODIAN' of Multi Cargo Terminal (described below) within notified Customs area of the Kamarajar Port, Vallur Post, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District-600120 for receipt, storage, delivery, dispatch or otherwise handling of Import goods and Export goods in accordance with the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 read with handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations 2009 DESCRIPTION OF AREA AND LOCATION: The Multi Cargo Terminal with berth length of 270 Mtrs and total area of 1,35,000 Sq. Mtrs, Located in the Northern part of Kamarajar Port. Break up is as below: Wharf area: 5940 Sq.Mtrs Storage Area: 74600 Sq.Mtrs Utilities: 54460 Sq.Mtrs BOUNDARIES: The Multi Cargo Terminal with berth bounded at: On the North: Adani Container Terminal Private Limited On the South: Open Area On the East: Sea On the West: Compound wall of Kamarajar Port M/s Chettinad International Bulk Terminal Private Limited (CIBTPL), as the Custodian of the goods meant for Export and Import would be required to comply with the Provisions of Customs Act 1962 and Handling of Cargo in Customs Area Regulations 2009 as well as Rules and Regulations and instructions issued from time to time on the subject mentioned above.
