Attention of the Importers/Exporters, Customs Brokers, Custodians, trade and other stake holders is invited to the Public Notice No. 1/2014 dated 10.10.2014 issued by this office wherein the reorganization of Commissonerates were created in the Chennai Customs Zone with effect from 15.10.2014 based on the Notification no. 77/2014-Cus. (NT) dated 169.2014 issued by the Central Board of Excise and Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance vide F.NO. 437/48/2014-Cus.IV In the 'Annexure - A' to the above-said Public Notice, an amendment is hereby ordered at SI. No. 2, SI.No.4 to the existing functions, with respect to the jurisdiction of Chennai II IV Commissionerates respectively by way of the following additions: S.No. Commissionerate Jurisdiction 2 Chennai II In addition, the Commissionerate will handle the following functions in respect of all cargo pertaining to Chennai Sea port, Kattupalli port, Ennore Port and ICD Tondiarpet: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 8.
