Implementation of Documents Management System at Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai - Customs - Public Notice No. 17/2017

S/43-CHS-01/2015-16/ACC Dated:- 13-06-2017 Public Notice No. 17/2017 Sub:- Implementation of Documents Management System at Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai-reg. Vide Public Notice No. 06/2015 dated 12.06.2015, it was informed to all the Members of the EXIM Community, Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents, Consolidators and all other stake holders with regard to the implementation of Documents Management System (DMS) at Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai. The said facility was started after due consultation and consent obtained from the Trade during the meeting of Permanent Trade Faclitation Committee and a contract was signed between Commissioner of Customs (Gen), ACC ( herein after referred to as Vendee) and M/S Newgen Software Technology Limited, Mumbai (herein after referred to as 'Vendor'). 2. Vide Public Notice No. 06/2015 dated 12.06.2015 all the concerned were informed that the rate for the DMS was Rupees Sixteen Only (i.e ₹ 16/-) (i.e coupon price) . Further vide subsequent Public Notice No. 09/2016 dated 16.06.2016 and corrigendum to Public Notice No. 09/2016 dated 16.06.2016 the rate for the DMS was revised to ₹ 17/- per docket effective from 22.06.2016, in order to factor-in-the inflation rate. 03. As per the terms of the contract between the 'Vendee Vendor- Provision for Cost Escalation:- The Vendee agrees to increase the rates offered by the vendor by minimum 5% on yearly basis to factor-in-the inflation rates. 04. Accordingly, as per the agreed term of the contract and as requested by the Vendor to increase the coupon price, all the concerned ( i.e EXIM Community, Customs Broker, Steamer Agents, Consolidators and all other Stake Holders) are hereby intimated that, the coupon price will be increased to ₹ 18/- per docket w.e.f. 22.06.2017, in order to factor-in-the inflation rates. 05.
