Attention of all the importers, customs brokers and all trade formations is invited towards the implementation of GST in India w.e.f 01.07.2017. In this regard, it is informed that the new Shipping Bill Format would be effective from 27th June midnight, i.e. 28th June 2017. The trade is advised to take note of the changes made in the new Shipping Bill Format and file Shipping Bills accordingly. For details about the changes in the format, a separate Public Notice is being issued. Trade may also refer the PDF document uploaded on CBEC website, on the said subject.
