No. VIII(29)02/CUS/2001/9653-67(A) Dated: 06.04.2017 FACILITY No. 01/2017 Dated Shillong the 6 th April 2017 Subject: Import of livestock products Attention of all concerned is brought to Notification S.O. 948(E) dated 22.03.17 issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and, Farmers Welfare, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries whereby, import of certain livestock products has been allowed through Agartala LCS subject to conditions as prescribed for such livestock products. . Therefore, import of such livestock products (listed at SI. No(i) to (xxi) of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Notification No. S.O. 2666(E) dated 16.10.14) shall be allowed only on production of a valid permit for import of livestock products issued by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India and clearances will be subject to fulfillment of stipulated quarantine requirements. In view of the above, imports of said livestock products will only be permitted through Agartala LCS subject to conditions as prescribed.
