This is to inform that the name of The Kakinada Custom House Agents Association (a recognized Association) at the Kakinada Custom House has been changed as The Kakinada Customs Broker s Association. Consequent to this change in the name of the Association and on representation from the Association, the Commissioner of Customs, Customs Preventive Commissionerate recognised the The Kakinada Customs Brokers Association . 2. Attention of the Customs Brokers and trade is invited to the provisions of Regulation 24 of the Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations,2013 which mandates each Customs Broker to enrol himself as a member of the Customs Broker s Association, if there is a one registered in the Customs Station and recognized by the Commissioner of Customs. 3. In view of the above, it is suggested that every Customs Broker of Customs Broker of Kakinada Station may enrol themselves as member of the existing recognised Customs Broker Association as required under the provisions of the Regulation 24 of the Custom Brokers Licensing Regulations, 2013. 4. Any difficulty or problem faced by the Customs Brokers or the Trade may be brought to the notice of the under signed or to the Jurisdictional Additional/Joint Commissioner of concern Customs Stations.
