Attention of all the Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers, Steamer Agents, Custodians/Customs Cargo Service Providers, Trade Associations/Chamber of Commerce, Members of the RAC/PGC and the Public is invited to the Public Notice No.01/2014 (General No.2/2014), dated 07/10/2014 in file C. No: II/27/5/2007-CC (VZ), dated 07/10/2014 issued by the Chief Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise Service Tax, Visakhapatnam Zone, Visakhapatnam and CBEC Notification No.82/2017-Customs (NT), dated 24/08/2017 specifying the jurisdiction of the Corn missioner of Customs (Preventive), Vijayawada. 2. A new export procedure for Self Sealing of Containers is introduced by CBEC Circular No.26/2017-Customs, dated 01/07/2017 and 36/2017-Customs, dated 28/08/2017. As per this new procedure, permission for self sealing of an export container is a one time permission to be granted by the jurisdictional Customs Commissioner on the basis of verification report submitted by the Superintendent of jurisdictional Customs area. 3. In view of the above, to facilitate the exporters who seek to avail self sealing procedure the following Export Facilitation Divisions (EFDs) and Export Facilitation Centres (EFCs) are formed. The jurisdiction of each EFD along with its location and the EFCs under its jurisdiction are given in Table-I below.
