Attention of the Trade Industry is invited to Board's circular No. 191/01/2016-Service Tax dated 29.03.2016 . It is to inform that the Reserve Bank of India has issued instructions vide notification RBI/2015-16/342 dated 17.3.2016 wherein it has been decided that all agency banks shall keep the counters of their designated branches conducting government business open for full day on 30.3.2016 and till 8.00 p.m. on 31.3.2016. All electronic transactions would, however, continue till midnight of 31.3.2016. Thus, the assessees can make e-payment till the mid night of 31.3.2016. All the trade associations are requested to bring the contents of this Trade Notice to the attention of their members, the trade and everyone concerned.
