The taxpayers / trade are hereby informed that the Government of India has notified Territorial Jurisdiction of Authorities under 2 different Acts viz:- Notification No. 13/2017- Central Excise (N.T) dated 09.06.2017 made effective from 22.06.2017 vide Notification No. 17/2017- Central Tax (N. T) dated 19.06.2017 for the purpose of Central Excise Service Tax matters( for legacy matters) Notification No. 02/2017- Central Tax dated 19.06.2017 made effective from 22.06.2017 for the purpose of Central Tax i.e. GST. 2. Consequent upon the above said Notifications, the Meerut Customs Central Tax Zone, Meerut will be headed by the Chief Commissioner of Customs Central Tax, Meerut, and will comprise the following Commissionerates: (i) Meerut (vi) Audit Meerut (ii) Ghaziabad (vii) Audit Noida (iii) Noida (viii) Audit Dehradun (iv) Gautam Budh Nagar (ix) Appeals Meerut (v) Dehradun (x) Appeals Noida (xi) Appeals Dehradun 3. The jurisdiction of the Commissionerates, Divisions and Ranges of the respective Commissionerates viz. Meerut Commissionerate, Ghaziabad Commissionerate, Noida Commissionerate, Gautam Budh Nagar Commissionerate, Dehradun Commissionerate, Circles of the Audit Meerut, Audit Noida and Audit Dehradun Commisionerates, Appeals Meerut, Appeals Noida and Appeals Dehradun Commissionerates are detailed as per Annexures 1 2. 4. This Trade Notice comes into immediate effect. 5. The taxpayers / trade are requested to carefully note the jurisdiction of the Commisionerates/Divisions/Ranges/CircIes. All the members of the Regional Advisory Committee and Trade Associations, Chambers of Commerce in the state of Uttar Pradesh Uttarakhand are requested to circulate this Trade Notice among their constituent members for information and guidance.
