Attention of trade and their representatives are invited to the Public Notice No. 05/2016 dated 01.03.2016 issued by Custom House, Tuticorin. 2. The difficulty experienced by the trade for production of FD and solvency certificate from a nationalised bank in respect of Registration and renewal of registration for Shipping Agents / Steamer Agents. Hence, in order to facilitate and for the benefit of trade and public the following amendment has been made in Public Notice No. 05/2016 dated 01 03.2016 - the words and phrase 'nationalised bank' appearing in Para 3A(v), 3A(vi) and Para 3B(i) may be read as 'scheduled commercial bank' 3.
