F. No. S. Misc. 01/2019-20-EDI-ACC Dated 30.01.2020 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 02/2020 sub: BUDGET UPDATION 2020-21- Filing of Bills of Entry and Shipping Bills in ICES - reg. It is brought to the notice of all the Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers and all Trade Formations that Union Budget 2020-21 is expected to be presented in Parliament on 01.02.2020. 2. Updation of ICES Directories would begin on 01.02.2020 after the budget is presented in parliament and continue till updation of all Budget Notifications and changes in directories. 3. BE filing will be stopped in ICES at 2000 hrs on 1st February 2020 and Section 48 approvals should be STOPPED at 2000 hrs on 1st February 2020. However, system will be available for other functions in ICES. Suitable TICKERS will be made available on CITRIX as well as CBIC and ICEGATE websites regarding the timing for resuming the services of the Regular filing of BES and section 48 approvals. 4. During the Budget Activity, Shipping Bill filing and processing will continue as usual without any stoppage. If any changes are announced in the Export Duty and Export Cess during the Budget, it is advised that the sites will keep a track of the relevant SBS filed on or after 1st February 2020 till the directory changes are made online, and export duty/cess be collected manually thereon. Similarly, processing of BES filed before 2000 hrs on 1st February 2020 will also continue as usual. 5.
