Limits of Custom area of "The Thar Dry Port" - Customs - PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 02/2020

No. VIII(H)48/CT/62/09/pt-III Dated: 22.01.2020 PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 02/2020 Sub: - Limits of Custom area of The Thar Dry Port -Reg. In pursuance to the Notification No. 12/97-Cus (NT) dated 02.04.1997 as amended issued under Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 wherein Jodhpur in the State of Rajasthan has been notified to be a place of Inland Container Depot for unloading of imported goods and loading of exported goods. The limits of the Custom area of 'The Thar Dry Port , an ICD located at Main Jodhpur Barmer Road, Village - Pal, Distt- Jodhpur (Rajasthan) were specified vide Public Notice No. 23/2001 dated 18.092001. The changes in boundary wall increase in Customs area requested by the Custodian, in terms of Section 8(b) Of the Customs Act, 1962, the revised limits of Custom Area will be as under: North: 1081 feet 9 inches long Boundary wall from North-West corner to North East corner adjoining Khasra No. 175/1, 176 and 178. East: 346 feet long Boundary wall from North East Corner to South Side adjoining open land pertaining to M/S The Thar Dry Port and Main Road South: 393 feet 4 inches long wall starting from the end of above wall from East to West 359 feet 3 inches long wall from the end of above wall from North to South corner. 654 feet 2 inches long wall from South East corner to South West corner adjoining Kachha Road and Khasra No. 170 and 179. West: 695 feet 9 inches long wall from South West corner to North West Corner adjoining open space forming Green Belt adjoining Khasra No. 160/1, 160, 169. The Custodian is permitted to make alteration in the boundary wall of the specified area as mentioned above, under provision of regulation 6(I)(n) of HCCAR, 2009. (S. C. Agarwal) Commissioner
