Attention of Importers, Exporters, Customs Brokers and all other stake holders is invited towards the CBIC instruction 02/2020-Customs dated 20.02.2020 on the above captioned subject. 2. Consequent to the issuance of the above instruction, a meeting of all the stakeholders of Import, Export and General Commissionerate was held at Air Cargo Complex on 21.02.2020, to put in place a mechanism to implement the said instructions. 3. A working module connecting all the stakeholders operating from Air Cargo Complex, Sahar was envisaged and a 24X7 helpline has been created with a dedicated mobile number 9167042431 . This mobile will be in the custody of Superintendent Batch (IFO - Customs) as a single-point contact for the trade to intimate all such cases, wherein requirement for assessment and clearance beyond the normal working hours and holidays is envisaged. Superintendent batch (IFO - Customs) shall maintain a proper record of same in a register. 4. The importers / CBs will be required to provide details like Bill of Entry Number, Country of origin, Product description, importer details and CB details in their message to the helpline number. 5. Concerned Additional/Joint Commissioners of Customs shall assign requisite officers for prompt handling of the consignment for speedy clearance, ensuring due compliance with the relevant provisions of the Customs laws and regulations, including allied laws, as applicable. 6. The partner government agencies are being approached to facilitate the functioning of this 24x7 facility. 7. This module would be reviewed in 10 days of its issuance and necessary corrections would be made in consultation with the trade representatives and Custodian. 8. In case of any difficulty, the specific issue may be brought to the notice of ADC/JC, Import Commissionerate, ACC, Mumbai, Zone-Ill. (VINAYA AZAAD) Commissioner of Customs Import (ACC)
