The Customs Brokers are hereby informed that the Mumbai Customs Zone I is developing an all India based software known as Customs Broker Licensing and Management System (hereinafter referred to as CBLMS , in short) in association with NIC-SI. It is a Central Platform for managing the Customs Broker and their licensing process with end to end IT integration and smart automation. In this regard, the Mumbai Customs Zone I requires basic data of Customs Brokers for providing login credentials to them in CBLMS. The said all India Customs Brokers data was retrieved from ICES, however, it was observed that few data fields, especially the registered email id and mobile number, are either not valid or are not active. The login credentials cannot be provided to such Customs Brokers without valid and active email id and mobile numbers. The said data is essential for providing access to Customs Brokers and therefore, for the smooth and successful PAN India roll-out of CBLMS. In view of the above, it is requested to all Customs Brokers operating under sub-regulation 2 of Regulation 7 of the Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations, 2018 (or corresponding provisions of earlier Regulations) of Mangalore Customs Commissionerate to provide error-free requisite data (i.e., active email id and active mobile number without any syntax error) along with other details as per the pro forma mentioned in the notice for updating the same in common portal (i.e., EDI system).
