Reference to Board's Instructions F.No. 209/22/87-CX.6 (Circular No. 5/88-CX.6) dated 29-1-1988 on the above subject. 2. The Ministry of Commerce have been amended the provisions of the Import-Export policy relating to the Intermediate Advance Licensing Scheme. The provision for a joint bond has since been dispensed with and the Intermediate Manufacturer and the manufacturer of the Export Product have been permitted to execute separate individual bonds. Para 3 of Board's instructions, dated 29-1-1988 referred to above may be deemed to be modified to the above extent. 3. Field formations may be suitably advised.
