Kind reference is invited to Advisory No. 29/2018 dated 30.08.2018 and No. 11/2024 dated 16.07.2024 (Category - Exports), issued by Directorate General of Systems and Data Management (DGoS, ICES), New Delhi, on the subject Procedure for Exports through Foreign Post Offices . In this regard it is to inform that: - a) A mechanism for refund of IGST on exports through post is likely to be launched soon, wherein, the exporters will provide the details for seeking IGST refund at the time of filing postal bill of exports, and such details shall be pushed to the ICES System after physical export of goods, for GST verification with GSTN, and for preparation of scrolls. The IGST refunds would be processed in a manner similar to that being done for exports through courier/ ECCS. b) Postal exporters would be registering their bank accounts on ICES/ICEGATE. This registration of bank account has to be done at the corresponding master site as mentioned in the Annexure to the aforesaid Advisory of 2018. Annexure is enclosed with this Trade Notice. 2.
