OFFICE OF THE PRINCIPAL COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS CUSTOM HOUSE : PORT AREA : VISAKHAPATNAM 530 035 PHONE : ( 0891) 2564552 : FAX : (0891) 2562613 Email : [email protected] / [email protected] F.NO.S6/04/2024-RI I, F.No.S6/05/2024-RI I Date: 18.10.2024 NOTICE FOR DISPOSAL OF CIGARATTES Sub : Seizure of foreign origin cigarettes (2,09,400 sticks) at Visakhapatnam Railway Station on 13.03.2024 15.03.2024 - Reg. ******* Whereas 2,09,400 sticks of foreign origin Cigarettes (PARIS Brand ESSE lights Brand) kept in 07 big white colored parcel bags offloaded from Samatha Express (Train No. 12808) on 13.03.2024 and Swarna Jayanti Express (Train No. 12804) on 15.03.2024 at Visakhapatnam Railway Station, have been seized by the officials of Custom House, Visakhapatnam under Section 110 of the Customs Act, 1962 on a reasonable belief that von are liable for confiscation under the provisions of Section 111 of the Customs Act, 2. The seized goods were booked to the name of Shri Nalluri Panduranga from New Delhi to Visakhapatnam vide PRR No. 2019-622125 / 12 Mar 24 and PRR No. 2019-621957 / 12 Mar 24 loaded on Samatha Express (Train No. 12808) and Swarna Jayanti Express (Train No. 12804) respectively. The Sender and the Consignee of the said parcels is the same person viz Shr Nalluri Panduranga and address mentioned in PRR is Door No.45/15/3/1,, Pandawala Revu, Gundala, Vijayawada and 117/B, Main MkKT, Visakhapatnam respectively. It is hereby notified that, the seized goods which are perishable in nature and scheduled for disposal by way of destruction or any other manner in accordance with applicable rules regulations as. per the provision of Para 2.3.1 under Chapter 2 of Disposal Manual, 2019. 3. Now therefore, Shri Nalluri Panduranga or any other individual who claims himself as owner of the seized goods are hereby intimated to submit their reply to the undersigned within 10 days from the date of issue of this notice with all supporting documents.
