Sir/Madam, Sub: Request for identifying the necessary infrastructural requirements to facilitate the roll out of the Investigation and Search Survey Modules of the Income Tax Business Application (ITBA) Kindly refer to the above. The income Tax Business Application (ITBA) is being rolled out since 22.06.2015 in phases and Portal, Appeal, PAN, TAN and HRMS Modules have been launched so far. 2. The Investigation Module and Search Survey Modules are expected to be launched shortly. The infrastructural pre-requisites for the ITBA include the Network nodes, RSA Tokens, Bandwidth augmentation wherever needed, desktops and printers for each user as per the minimum required configuration. Details of these infrastructural pre-requisites are enclosed. Reference may also be made to the letter No. System/ITBA/Drop 1/14 15/150/2092 dated 11.03.2015 issued in this regard (copy attached). 3. In view of the above, it is requested that the infrastructural requirements for all the officers and inspectors in your charge for accessing the Income Tax Business Application be assessed. 4. The IT infrastructure requirements in terms of network nodes and RSA tokens may then be identified and reference may be made to the Additional Director General of Income Tax (Systems) - 4, New Delhi by 15th January 2016, so that requisite infrastructure can then be put in place well in time to facilitate effective roll out of the aforesaid modules of the ITBA. 5. A separate screen for capturing the infrastructure requirements has been developed in the ITD application. Information will be captured as per the attached layout (Screen shot attached). The screen will be accessible to CslT (CO) only and where there are multiple CslT (CO) user within the same CCIT (CCA) charge, duplicity may please be avoided.
