It has come to notice of the Board that the Pre-shipment Inspection Certificates required on import of metallic waste and scrap issued by M/s. Alex Stewart International Corporation, BV, Rotterdam, M/s. BSI Inspectorate Ltd. Essex and M/s. Intertek Group Plc, London were found false DGFT has blacklisted these inspection Agencies. 2. DGFT has requested CBEC to direct all field formations in this regard and not to accept any Pre-inspection Certificate issued by these inspection Agencies. 3. In view of above, you are requested to initiate necessary action in above respect and inform all field formations under your jurisdiction not to accept any Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate issued by M/s. Alex Stewart International Corporation, BV, Rotterdam, M/s. BSI Inspectorate Ltd. Essex and M/s. Intertek Group Plc. London for import of metallic waste and scrap.
