Statistical reports to DI(IT). - Income Tax - 1597/CBDT

INSTRUCTION NO. 1597/CBDT Dated: January 19, 1985 It has been to the notice of the Board that the statistical reports regarding the institution, disposal and pendency of appeals and revision petitions are not sent to the DI(IT) promptly. This has resulted in inordinate delay in the compilation of the relevant statistics. All Commissioners/Commissioners(Appeals) should personally ensure that the statistics are sent to DI(IT) for each and every month/quarter within 10 days after the end of the month/quarter.
