U.N. pensions paid to widows/children of former U.N. employees. - Income Tax - 1674/CBDT

INSTRUCTION NO. 1674/CBDT Dated: December 12, 1985 Attention is invited to Board's circular No. 293 (F. No. 200/140/80-IT-A1) dated the 10th February, 1981 on the subject mentioned above. 2. All Assessing Officers may kindly be informed that U.N. pensions paid to widows/children of former United Nations employees are also covered by the aforesaid circular of the Board and would, therefore, be exempt from tax.
