MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 4th August, 2014 S.O. 2001(E).- Whereas, M/s. Synefra Engineering and Construction Limited (formerly Suzlon Infrastructure limited), a private organization in the State of Gujarat, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Engineering (earlier Hi-tech Engineering Products and related services) at village Alwa and Pipalia, Taluka Waghodia, District Vadodara in the State of Gujarat; And, whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006 , had notified the following areas as Special Economic Zone, as per the details given below :- S. Synefra Engineering and Construction Limited has now proposed to de-notify 10.4241 hectares of the above Special Economic Zone; And, whereas, the State Government of Gujarat has given its No Objection to the proposal vide letter No. IC/Infra/SEZ-Cell/963579 dated 19th June, 2014; And whereas, the Development Commissioner, Kandla Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 10.4241 hectares of the Special Economic Zone; And, whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 10.4241 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 105.2198 hectare, comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely :- TABLE S.
