MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th September, 2014 S.O. 2255(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 8 read with sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the Competition Act, 2002 (12 of 2003) , the Central Government hereby appoints Shri U. C. Nahta as Member of Competition Commission of India from the date of his assumption of chrage of the post for a period of five years or till he attains the age of sixty five years or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
