To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Petrochemicals and Petroleum at Baikampady, Near Mangalore, District Dakshin Kannada in the State of Karnataka - S.O. 2298(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8 th September, 2014 S. O. 2298(E).- Whereas, M/s Mangalore SEZ Limited had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Petrochemicals and Petroleum at Baikampady, Near Mangalore, District Dakshin Kannada in the State of Karnataka; And, Whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with Rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006 , had notified / de-notified the following areas as Special Economic Zone, as per the details given below:- S.
