U/s. 35AC, IT ACT, 1961 - Eligible Projects Or Schemes, Expenditure On – Lepra Society, Andhra Pradesh - 75/2013 - Income Tax

NOTIFICATION NO. 75/2013 DATED 27-12-2013 S.O. 3826(E) - Whereas by notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) number S.O. 3021(E) dated 23.12.2010 issued under clause (b) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government had notified at serial number 9 (i) Bolangir Leprosy Eradication Project, (ii) Junagarh Leprosy Eradication Project, iii)Koralep Project: strengthening referral system for secondary care of persons affected by leprosy, (iv)Lymphatic filariasis project, (v) LEPRA Mahanadi eye hospital, (vi) Technical resource unit and strengthening referral system project, (vii) Adilabad rural and tribal health project, (viii) Cheyutha project, (ix) Mens intervention project, (x) Mobile voluntary counselling and testing centre project, (xi) Umeed project, (xii) Workplace intervention project, (xiii) Krishna community health intervention project, (xiv) Sreyassu project and (xv) Technical resources unit-MP. by Lepra Society, Plot No.17, Post Box No.1518, Krishnapuri Colony, West Marredpally, Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh , as an eligible project at the estimated cost of ₹ 15.41 crore for a period of three years ending with financial year 2012-13; And whereas the said project or scheme is likely to extend beyond 3 years; And whereas the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, being satisfied that the said project or scheme is being executed properly, made a further recommendation under sub-rule (5) of rule 11M of the Income-tax Rules, 1962 for specifying the said project or scheme for a further period of three years; Now, therefore, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (b) of the Explanation to section 35AC , of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) , hereby notifies the scheme or project (i) Bolangir Leprosy Eradication Project, (ii) Junagarh Leprosy Eradication Project, (iii) Koralep Project:strengthening referral system for secondary care of persons affected by leprosy, (iv) Lymphatic filariasis project, (v) LEPRA Mahanadi eye hospital, (vi) Technical resource unit and strengthening referral system project, (vii) Adilabad rural and tribal health project, (viii) Cheyutha project, (ix) Mens intervention project, (x) Mobile voluntary counseling and testing centre project, (xi) Umeed project, (xii) Workplace intervention project, (xiii)Krishna community health intervention project, (xiv) Sreyassu project and (xv) Technical resources unit-MP. which is being carried out by Lepra Society, Plot No.17, Post Box No.1518, Krishnapuri Colony, West Marredpally, Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh , without any change in the approved cost of ₹ 15.41 crore, as an eligible project or scheme for a further period of three years commencing with financial year 2013-14, i.e., 2013-14, 2014-15 2015-16.
