Constitution of Bench at Chandigarh - 02/2015 - Customs -Tariff

CESTAT Notification No. 2/2015 Dated 04/11/2015 Subject : Constitution of Bench at Chandigarh. In exercise of powers conferred by Section 129C of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with Section 35D of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) , Section 86 of the Finance Act, 1994 , Section 9C of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 and all other enabling provisions; and in terms of the decision of the Union Cabinet dated 21-3-2013 as conveyed by the letter F. No. 27/06/07-Ad.IC (CESTAT) dated 13-11-2013 of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, The President of the Customs, Excise Service Tax Appellate Tribunal hereby orders that there shall be Regional Bench at Chandigarh. In terms of the jurisdiction specified in the letter dated 13-11-2013 of the Government of India, the Regional Bench, Chandigarh shall deal with all matters arising within its jurisdiction as specified in the table below and such other matters as may be transferred to it by a general or special order of the President.
