Police Officers in Mizoram entrusted with specified functions of Customs Officers within their Jurisdiction - 12 - Customs -Tariff

Notification No. 12 Dated 14/02/1981 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby entrusts to the officers and subordinate officers of the Coast Guard constituted under the Coast Guard Act, 1978 (30 of 1978) and mentioned in column (2) of the Table below the functions of an officer of customs specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table and directs that each such officer and subordinate officer of the Coast Guard shall exercise the functions of an officer of Customs within the Indian Customs water.
