Police Officers in Mizoram entrusted with specified function s of Customs Officers within their jurisdiction - 190 - Customs -Tariff

Notification No. 190 Dated 13/08/1982 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby entrusts to the police officers specified in column (2) of the Table below, in the Union Territory of Mizoram, the functions of an Officer of Customs under the sections of the said Act specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table within the limits of their respective jurisdiction and within the territory of police station or outpost, as the case may be.
